Mario Lopez Dances His Way Into a New Job
Variety has reported that Dancing with the Stars runner-up Mario Lopez has just signed a "talent holding deal" with the CW network. It means that they will either develop a show for him or cast him in a pilot sometime during the 2007-08 season. They basically guarantee him some sort of job, which is a good thing.
Although he hasn't really been on the unemployment line, nothing has brought him the success of his Dancing with the Stars stint since he was AC Slater on Saved by the Bell. He did have a brief spot on Pacific Blue, hosted America's Most Talented Kid, and made appearances on Comedy Central's Mind of Mencia, The Bad Girl's Guide, Eve, The Bold and the Beautiful and Nip/Tuck. And there was that short-lived talk show, but nothing like this.
